The organizations have combined resources to improve the event registration process
(Easthampton, MA) July 16, 2019 – Since announcing their partnership in February of this year, BikeReg and USA Cycling have combined resources to launch three key offerings for directors of USA Cycling sanctioned events, and have also started work on the development of a roadmap for the future.
The three offerings, which are now live, include Permit Integration, Online Waivers, and License Validation.
Online Waivers
BikeReg event directors can now use the USA Cycling online waiver, which also saves time for event directors. Using an API, BikeReg pulls the waiver connected to each registration directly from USA Cycling’s database. This keeps the BikeReg registration process quick and easy, while eliminating the need for participants to sign paper waivers.

Permit Integration
Permit Integration was created as a way for event directors to save time when creating their events. Once they’ve completed the permit process with USA Cycling, they can use their permit number to autofill the event setup page on BikeReg.

License Validation
Finally, BikeReg can now verify license numbers against USAC’s database, for all athletes registering on their site against category, date of birth, and gender. The process of checking the database happens in real time, so registering participants can renew, buy a license, and register right away.

Improving a Proven Platform
These offerings were designed to work seamlessly with BikeReg — the popular and proven registration and event management platform. Additional offerings, features, and tools will be developed over the next several months, with blogs, instructional guides, and other informative content being released as necessary.
