Want participants to use your handle and event hashtags?
With our updated Twitter features, now they will! All you need to do is enter your event handle, hashtag, or both, on the Social Media Settings page.
When participants register for your event, they can share their registration with a tweet that they just “athletereg’d” only now it will include your handle and hashtag.
Once plugged in, your participants will help with your social media marketing simply by using the handle or hashtag, and getting their followers to like and retweet your event’s information over and over. This not only gets the word out about your event, but this also helps build excitement among participants as they follow your user account and search for your hashtags.
