Outside Interactive, Inc., the world’s leading creator of active lifestyle content, services, events, and experiences, has formed an Event Services team born out of athleteReg, one of the world’s leading event registration platforms, and FinisherPix, a global leader in endurance sports photography. Outside Event Services supports running, cycling, multisport, ski, and other endurance events, growing registration and adding value to sponsorships through integrated marketing, advertising, and content solutions delivered in partnership with Outside’s 30+ media brands.
Outside Event Services will be exhibiting in the expo and leading an Idea Lab session at the upcoming Running USA Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Outside Event Services has access to more than 80 million of the world’s most engaged outdoor, wellness, and endurance enthusiasts every month via brands like Outside, VeloNews, Peloton, TrailRunner, Women’s Running, Triathlete, Outside Run, and Outside Watch.

Record Growth & Partnerships
On the heels of signing over 1,000 new events in 2021, athleteReg and FinisherPix have established new partnerships with 200+ events so far in 2022, including 9 events with over 20,000 participants. Bucking industry trends of flat growth in the endurance space, both athleteReg and FinisherPix set new records in 2021 in a multitude of areas, led by 25% growth in participation over 2019.
Growth has not been limited to new clients as the event services division have continued to bolster their technology to help streamline the event director workflow and enrich participants’ event experience. A unified login system for athletes across brands, live photos, best in class lottery tools, and more were rolled out in 2021.
Outside Event Services is led by a team of industry veterans from athleteReg and FinisherPix with a reputation of best-in-class service and unrivaled expertise. To further build on this internal talent and experience, the team welcomed industry veteran Tim McMahon to the sales team in January 2022, in addition to robust account management and engineering teams.
Members of the Outside Event Services team will attend and exhibit at Running USA and other leading running, cycling, and triathlon conferences and trade events throughout the year to collaborate with events on custom solutions.
