Get Your Event Page Ready for Launch

We’ve spent the last couple of months walking you through everything changing with the registration page redesign, from navigation and your event overview, to checkout and merchandise, to maps, event details, and highlights

The new registration page launches September 15th. Your event page will automatically switch to the new design, no action needed on your end. You’ll be able to access the new sections on launch day. Until then, use the checklist below to gather everything you need. Here’s your “get ready” checklist:

Event Setup

General Event Setup

Event Description: A short description that gives participants a feel for your event before they register (150 character max)

Event Logo: A professional logo helps build trust and strengthens your event’s recognition. Choose to display it as a circle or rectangle, and use our cropping tool to automatically adjust it to fit.

Participant Count Display: On by default, show your total registered participants. Builds momentum as event day approaches.

Countdown Timer: On by default, shows a countdown to your event day. Builds urgency as the date gets closer.

Merchandise

Merch Photos: Up to two photos for each merchandise item. Use our cropping tool for a clean, consistent look.

Merch Details: Clear item descriptions and pricing for each item.

Donation: Set three suggested donation amounts. The middle amount is pre-filled as the suggested donation, though donors can always edit it. This helps donors decide faster and often increases overall contributions.

Maps

Maps: Create your course and logistics maps, and have the URLs ready to add. Not sure which platform to use? We can recommend the best fit for your event. Our registration platform integrates with:

  • Trailforks: Perfect for mountain and gravel bike and trail running events
  • MapMyRide: Ideal for road cycling events
  • MapMyRun: Great for running events of all distances
  • MapMyWalk: Works well for walking events of all distances
  • Your Own Maps: Upload a JPG or PNG for event or course logistics
  • RideWithGPS: Cycling route creation and navigation

Event Details

Event Details: Pull together your event details, topics like location, schedule, parking, and course distances. The section uses content blocks per topic, so you can add preset blocks or create your own, and edit anytime. Tip: Drop your details into your favorite AI tool along with the template to keep everything short and concise, participants want to scan this section quickly.

Photos & Video

Hero Photo: We highly recommend adding a hero photo, it’s one of the first things participants see and makes your event page look polished. Choose a high-quality image that captures the spirit of your event, action shots from previous years or stunning course views work best. Accepts JPG, PNG, or GIF, displayed at 440px tall in a 16:9 ratio, so a wide image with key elements near the top center works best. Use our cropping tool to automatically adjust it to fit.

Photos: Up to 15 of your best event photos, each with a short description (125 characters max) for SEO and accessibility. Drag and drop to reorder, and the gallery adjusts automatically for both vertical and horizontal images.

Videos: YouTube links that capture your event’s energy and give participants a preview of what to expect.

Sponsor logos will be added shortly after launch, we’ll let you know when it’s ready.
