March 1st, 2016 – BikeReg has announced their sponsorship of the 2016 Queens of Dirt Women’s MTB weekend sponsored by Jacks Bicycle Center’s Queens of Dirt, Liv Cycling, and Kona bikes, June 10th-12th, in Bellingham, Washington. Organized by Liv Cycling’s ambassador, Kirsten Jensen, the program is approaching its third year in a row as a local women’s mountain bike clinic. This program enables women to learn necessary technical riding skills, as well as keys to trail maintenance, all while building a supportive atmosphere they will take with them on the trail. BikeReg is proud to support the initiative to help more women feel confident out on the trails and to lower the barriers to entry to our sport.

QOD Women’s Mtb Weekend is for women by women! Our mission is to empower women and girls (from beginner to advanced riders) to be self-sufficient mountain bikers with an emphasis on fun, safe progressions and a well-rounded understanding of not just technical riding skills, but bike and trail maintenance as well. In addition, the clinic creates a supportive network of local women riders of all levels. This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND event organized and run by ALL local women and is not to be missed!
